Cambon Capucines Pavilion
A stone's throw from Place de la Madeleine is the Cambon-Capucines Pavilion, a spectacular place dating from the beginning of the 20th century. Occupying the former Salle des Pas Perdes du Crédit Foncier de France, it was originally designed to house counters, safes and offices. From the outside, the building adopts a neoclassical architecture echoing the Place Vendôme. Its interiors combine Art Nouveau ironwork by Christofle and sculpted decorations of antique inspiration designed by Mewès. Today, the Cambon-Capucines Pavilion hosts parades, exhibitions, gala dinners, weddings, product launches and conferences.

To privatize Pavillon Cambon Capucines, start by framing your date, capacity, and objective (launch, gala, conference, evening). Potel et Chabot then accompanies you on design: space distribution, guest journey, sequences (welcome, highlight, cocktail, dinner, after). A dedicated contact gathers your needs, anticipates constraints, and coordinates preparation, with a custom approach from menus to service style and scenography.
Capacity depends on format and layout. The reference document indicates a large 700 m² salon accommodating up to 650 seated people (dinner configuration), as well as a 375-seat auditorium (theater configuration). For cocktail, capacity is defined according to furniture, service points, flows, and technical requirements; Potel et Chabot proposes adapted configuration to preserve comfort and circulation.
Yes, the space particularly lends itself to a gala dinner when seeking strong architectural presence: glass roof, marble, great ceiling height. The key is layout: table placement, possible stage, service zones, and speech rhythm. Potel et Chabot designs fluid flow and precise French service, with coherent table setting (tableware arts, lighting, decor), for an elegant and comfortable experience.
Yes. The venue has a 375-seat auditorium, particularly relevant for 'content' formats: conferences, plenaries, screenings, ceremonies, presentations. Potel et Chabot helps articulate the transition between auditorium and salons (coffee welcome, break, cocktail, dinner) to maintain natural rhythm. We also build timings (entries/exits, transitions, Q&A) to avoid breaks.
Yes, if the evening is conceived in sequences and layout is anticipated. The interest of Pavillon Cambon Capucines is to organize a highlight (dinner, reveal, speech) then switch to more festive ambiance, with a floor, bar, and musical arrangement. Points to validate: sound constraints, schedules, stage/DJ location, guest circulation. Potel et Chabot coordinates these elements with your suppliers to maintain fluid experience.
Technical solutions are defined according to your format: conference (sound, mics, returns, video), evening (ambient lighting, scenic, dancefloor), capture/streaming (cameras, production, connectivity). The auditorium, designed for speeches, generally facilitates installation of structured audiovisual arrangement. Potel et Chabot accompanies you on survey, layout, reverse planning, and coordination, to integrate technical aspects without weighing down the flow.
Yes. A VIP flow relies on intelligent separation of flows (guests, VIP, teams), dedicated welcome (hostesses, coat check, security point if necessary), and breathing spaces: confidential salon, speaker lounge, partner area. Potel et Chabot organizes these sequences with dedicated contact, anticipating constraints and timings, so protocol is perfectly maintained while remaining natural on guest side.
Potel et Chabot can handle a global proposal, conceived 'from plate to decor': gastronomy (cocktail, dinner, breaks), service style, tableware arts, and scenography. The document specifies custom preparation from menus to service style through scenography, with teams present before, during, and until reception end. The interest: overall coherence and simplified coordination.
Pavillon Cambon Capucines is located 46 rue Cambon, 75001 Paris, in the heart of the center, facilitating access by transport (metro/taxi/VTC) for Parisian and international guests. For parking and possible valet, the most comfortable solution is to plan dedicated organization (drop-off zones, arrival schedules, signage, welcome staff), considering traffic constraints. Potel et Chabot can integrate these parameters into welcome plan and flow.
For effective quote, communicate: date/period, guest count, format (cocktail, seated dinner, conference), schedules, objectives (speech, launch, gala), expected service level (beverages, tableware arts, decor, technical), and venue constraints (access, assembly, timing). The document indicates a single contact accompanies you from first contact and preparation can extend two to four months according to scale. This allows speed while staying precise.
