Event sugar sculpting relies on exceptional artisanal know-how combining pulled, blown, cast, and sculpted sugar. These techniques create light, translucent, or monumental forms, from delicate details to true edible architectures. At Potel et Chabot, these precision gestures, inherited from French pastry art, serve custom creations designed to sublimate each reception.
Each sugar piece is imagined as a unique work. After a drawing and design phase, heated sugar is hand-worked, pulled to obtain brilliance and finesse, or blown to create airy and spectacular volumes. Elements are then meticulously assembled in our workshops, before being transported and mounted on-site, ensuring perfect finish on event day.
Large-scale sugar sculptures require rigorous anticipation: temperature, humidity, transport, stability, and installation conditions are essential parameters. Sugar being a living and sensitive material, our technical teams adapt structures, supports, and logistics to ensure solidity and safety, while preserving the creation's visual lightness.
Sugar sculptures fully integrate into event scenography. They can become a decor centerpiece, spectacular table center, gourmet fountain, or theatrical element during service or dessert.
